The contest mode will be released on October 11, 2024, 3 days after the release of Episode: Revenant. Contest mode is a modifier that will make every encounter extremely difficult, as it involves capping the power level of players below the recommended one.

This is the first time a dungeon gets a contest mode (only raids had this before), also, the reward for beating it guarantees the Icebreaker exotic sniper rifle alongisde the exclusive emblem & a unique badge on your dungeon report.
