HOW TO GET VEXCALIBUR

Vexcalibur is an exotic Glaive added in the Season of the Defiance. It is a craftable weapon and it can be upgraded with new perks or add one of the three different types of Catalysts. Its exotic trait deals additional melee damage while being protected by an overshield, refreshed by deafeating targets with melee final blows. The intrinsic perk helps you drain Void Overshields.

To unlock the Vexcalibur you have to find and complete the secret Avalon Exotic Mission. When you complete the quest for the first time, you will be rewarded with the Vexcalibur Exotic Glaive, and unlock its pattern for craftings.

VEXCALIBUR PERKS & STATS

The Vexcalibur is an excellent Exotic Glaive added by Bungie in The Season of the Defiance. This Glaive deals Void damage, and it does a great job in PvE activities and against Void Overshields.

This Exotic Glaive has 80 RPM, is in the Energy slot, and uses Special ammo. All the weapons stats are pretty good, but where it shines is Impact: 80, Range: 95, Reload Speed: 62.

As for Catalysts, Vexcalibur comes with three available traits:

  • Immovable Refit – Dealing ranged damage grants increased weapon energy while you're stationary with your shield raised.
  • Robber Refit – Melee final blows reload this weapon's magazine from reserves.
  • Feedback Refit – Blocking damage partially reloads this weapon from reserves.
