To get the Phosphorescent Stone Drake you must interact with Aeonaxx Elite NPC in Deepholm.

  • 1. Travel to Deepholm: Locate the Deepholm zone in Azeroth. This zone is located in the southern part of the Cataclysm expansion map.
  • 2. Locate Aeonaxx Spawn Points: Aeonaxx is a rare spawn mob that appears at one of six spawn points in Deepholm. These spawn points are:
    • 49.12, 55.60 (Center).
    • 50.50, 63.50 (South).
    • 55.05, 54.11 (East).
    • 53.72, 39.71 (Northeast).
    • 42.00, 43.60 (Northwest).
    • 43.00, 50.79 (West).
  • 3. Monitor Spawn Timers: Aeonaxx has an average spawn timer of 2-8 hours. A few add-ons can help you track the spawn timer for Aeonaxx. One such add-on is NPCScan.
  • 4. Form a Party: You must be in a party of 5 players or less to defeat Aeonaxx and receive the mount drop. Ensure that all party members are in Deepholm and near Aeonaxx's spawn point before attempting to engage him.
  • 5. Tag and Defeat: Aeonaxx Once Aeonaxx spawns, rush to the location and be the first player to tag him. Once Aeonaxx has been tagged, he will aggro all players in your party. The mount drop is a 100% chance, so all members of your party will receive the Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake if Aeonaxx is defeated.
