WHO IS SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER?

Sylvanas Windrunner is the last boss in SoD raid. She is a darkfallen that leads an undead army on her way to building a kingdom. During her life, she was the Queen of the Forsaken and Warchief of the Horde, bravely fighting to defend Quel'Thalas from a Scourge invasion. She fell in battle, but Arthas transformed her into the Banshee Queen. She was also Lich King's agent and now seeks a high purpose.

Sylvanas Windrunner is powerful and hard to kill. To defeat her, you need an experienced raiding party with tanks, damage dealers (DPS), and healers that follow the tactics. The boss fight is tough, on heroic difficulty, so you should prepare your character with the best gear before fighting Sylvanas.

WHAT IS A FATED RAID?

Fated is a raid affix added in season 4. Older raids will drop high ilvl loot, but the enemies are stronger. Fated raids will cycle with each weekly reset, and one of the three raids will be Fated each week. When the raid is Fated, the loot ilvl is increased up to the current season cap. Also, a couple of affixes change the fights and make the raids more challenging than the standard version, so be ready to improve your strategy.

Fated raids also reward you with Puzzling Catel Dinars, a quest currency you can use to purchase any 3 items from specific vendors.
