WHO IS RASZAGETH, THE STORM-EATER?

Raszageth is the last boss in the newest World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight. She is an ancient proto-dragon imprisoned within Froststone Vault in the Dragon Isles.

RASZAGETH BOSS ABILITIES

Raszageth is the most powerful boss in VotI Raid and very hard to kill. To defeat him, you need an experienced raiding party with tanks, damage dealers (DPS), and healers that follow the tactics. The boss fight is challenging, even on other difficulties, so you should prepare your character with the best gear before fighting her.

In the following list, you have all the abilities used by Raszageth in the first phase of the battle and the elements she uses when fighting her:

  • –Avoid being pushed off by Hurricane Wing: Position your raid behind a Static Field to nullify the knockback effect.
  • – Taunt swap after Electrified Jaws: Manage the tank's Physical damage debuff with precise swapping to mitigate the impact of this powerful attack.
  • – Manage Static Charge debuff: Coordinate movement to minimize raid damage and effectively utilize Static Field.

  • – Dodge Lightning Strikes: Stay alert and move away from the AoE telegraphs to avoid damage and stuns.
  • – Break the Shield and Coordinate Charges: Prioritize breaking the Stormsurge shield within the time limit and maintain proper positioning based on the Stormcharged buff.
  • – Dodge the Devastating Wing Buffet: Evade Raszageth's powerful downward strike and its ensuing storm wave to minimize damage and avoid displacement.
  • – Evade Deadly Lightning Breath: Recognize and swiftly shift out of the boss's frontal cone of destruction to avoid the lethal Lightning Breath attack, present throughout the main phases.
