What is the Weather Monitor Project?


In ARC Raiders, the Weather Monitor Project is an optional, stage-focused progression system centered around data recovery and environmental stabilization. This project challenges players to complete 5 stages of objectives, each stage asking for specific parts & materials.

Project Stages


There are a total of 5 stages required to complete the Weather Monitor Project, and each stage requires certain resources to be used (remember that once you use the resources for the project, they are GONE!), and you get certain rewards in return, like cosmetics, materials, shield recharges, and more.

Atmospheric Pressure - Stage I


Materials Where to Get
25 Plastic Parts Plastic Parts are a Common Basic material. You can receive them through multiple ways, such as breaking down items or by looting nearly any type of container in ARC Raiders.
15 Metal Parts Metal Parts are a Common Basic Material. You can get them through multiple ways, such as breaking down items or by looting nearly any type of container in ARC Raiders.
5 ARC Alloys ARC Alloys are a primary piece of loot that you can get from defeating ARCs or by looting their Husks.
3 Oil Oil is an Uncommon Mechanical loot item. You can find it around with the Mechanical Loot icon, which can appear on any map.

Sunlight - Stage II


Materials Where to Get
1 Snitch Scanner The Snitch Scanner is a Uncommon loot item that you can get from defeating the Snitch. It's a type of ARC you can find in multiple maps that have outdoor areas, meaning you can get it everywhere except for on Stella Montis.
3 Wires Wires are an Uncommon material that comes from the Electrical and Technological loot regions. You can find it from looting multiple containers, and you can find it on every map.
3 Sensors Sensors are a Rare material that you can get from the Technological and Security loot regions in the game. These can appear on every map, inside multiple containers.
1 Comet Igniter The Comet Igniter is a Rare ARC material that you can get from defeating the Comet ARC, introduced in the Shrouded Sky update.

Precipitation - Stage III


Materials Where to Get
5 ARC Powercells The ARC Power Cell is a Common loot item that you can from defeating all ARCs. You can also loot it from ARC husks.
5 Canisters The Canister is an Uncommon loot material that you can find inside Commercial loot regions. You can find this in multiple locations of each map in ARC Raiders, or you can purchase it directly from Celeste using Seeds.
5 Steel Spring The Steel Spring is an Uncommon loot material that you can find inside Industrial loot regions of any map. You can find it throughout multiple locations, or you can purchase it directly from Celeste using Seeds.
1 Fine Wristwatch The Fine Wristwatch is a Rare trinket that you can find in the Commercial or Residential areas of the map. It can appear in multiple locations, typically inside a loot container or sitting out in the open.

Humidity - Stage IV


Materials Where to Get
10 Duct Tape Duct Tape is an Uncommon loot material that you can find in the Commercial or the Residential loot regions. It's an item you can get from looting multiple types of containers, breaking down other items, or purchasing directly from Celeste using Seeds.
3 Rusted Bolts Rusted Bolts are an Uncommon loot material that you can find within the Industrial and Mechanical loot regions of maps. You'll be able to find it inside multiple loot containers.
1 Water Pump The Water Pump is a Rare loot material that you can find within the Industrial and the Mechanical loot regions of a map. You'll be able to find it inside multiple loot containers.
3 Wasp Drivers The Wasp Driver is a Rare ARC item that you can find by defeating a Wasp. These appear on all of the maps in ARC Raiders.

Temperature - Stage V


Materials Where to Get
3 Camera Lens The Camera Lens is an Uncommon loot material that you can find in the Security regions of any map. These can appear in nearly all types of loot containers.
1 Damaged Heat Sink The Damaged Heat Sink is a Rare loot material that you can find in the Technological regions of any map. You can typically find it by breaking into the larger loot containers that require you to breach them.
1 Firefly Burner The Firefly Burner is a Rare ARC material that you can obtain by defeating the Firefly enemy, introduced in the Shrouded Sky update.
3 Voltage Converter The Voltage Converter is a Rare loot material that you can find in the Electrical loot regions of any map. It can appear in multiple types of loot containers, or you can choose to purchase it directly from Celeste using Seeds.

Rewards


Completing each stage of the Weather Monitor project also awards you with certain goodies that can help you out during your raids. Let's go through the rewards for each stage:

  • Stage I (Atmospheric Pressure) - 5x Durable Cloths, 5x Great Mulleins, 5x Antiseptics, 5x Vita Shots.
  • Stage II (Sunlight) - 10x Processors, 5x Advanced Electrical Components, 3x Ziplines, 1x Raider Hatch Key.
  • Stage III (Precipitation) - 3x Medium Gun Parts, 2x Complex Gun Parts, 3x Advanced Mechanical Components, 1x Renegade III.
  • Stage IV (Humidity) - 10x Explosive Compounds, 3 Showstoppers, 3 Trailblazers, 1x Extended Barrel.
  • Stage V (Temperature) - 1x Medium Shield, 5x Surge Shield Recharges, 3x Sterilized Bandages, 1x Tactical Mk.3 Revival.

Completing the whole project will also reward you with 250 Raider tokens and a backpack charm in the form of an Anemometer. All in all, a little underwhelming compared to the Trophy Display project, but at least you don't need to take down a Queen or Matriarch again.
