Best subclasses & builds

  • Warlock (Solar Well) – Using Well of Radiance will greatly increase you and your team survivability while also increasing damage output. Consider using Healing Grenade if your team needs it.

  • Titan (Arc)Thundercrash is one of the best DPS supers for Titan, and using the Arc subclass lets you use Storm's Keep for extra damage for your entire fireteam.

  • Hunter (Prismatic Solar)Prismatic Solar with Golden Gun super in combination with the Celestial Nighthawk exotic is best for massive DPS damage during boss phases.
  • Getting started

Once you're ready, navigate to the Portal hub, and locate the raid marker in the far upper side of the hud.

    Best weapons loadouts

Here, I’ll be going over some of the best meta weapons to use in the Desert Perpetual raid:

    • Primary slot: New Land Beyond, Adamantite, Mint Retrograde.

    • Energy slot: Lord of Wolves, Divinity, Reckless Oracle.

    • Heavy slot: Thunderlord, Corrective Measure, Scintillation.

    Choosing your encounter

Predestination, takes place in a massive open area similar to the Prophecy Dungeon. Reach a platform directly in the center of the space, where three half-spheres and a full sphere form a square along the platform's corners. The three half-spheres allow you to choose which boss you fight.

    • All are entangled: Epoptes, the Hydra
    • Axion is axiom: Agraios, the Hobgoblin
    • Interference patterns swell: Iatros, the Wyvern

    Epoptes, Lord of Quanta

    General Objective Overview

Destroy the 3 big Hydras, while maintaining ad-clear, survivability and good comunication for the mechanic.

    Arena & Layout

The arena is made up of 3 rooms. One big room withe the boss and 2 smaller rooms with 2 smaller boss hydras inside.

    Mechanics

    • Enter arena, defeat enemies and Time’s Magistrates.

    • Killing Magistrates spawns two buffs on plates.

    • Two players grab buffs, enter side rooms with add-clear partners.
    • Two stay mid for enemy control.
    • In side rooms, Hydra has 7 shield eyes; one square above it lights up.

    • Buffed players call out lit square, shoot the eye called by the opposite room.

    • Add-clear players grab buffs, read which diamond on the middle pillar is unlit.

    • Guide side-room players to shoot the correct sphere above Hydra.
    • Regroup mid, clear Cyclopses.
    • Buffed players return, shoot remaining Hydra eyes, destroy center eye.
    • Go mid, shoot glowing eyes on main boss’s shield to start DPS phase.

    DPS Phase

The damage phase has it's own mechanic. The boss will call out 2 players to rotate with his shields, after a few seconds 7 eyes will pop on each shield, the players must quickly shoot these eyes to extend the damage phase.

    Tips & Mistakes to Avoid

    ✔️ Bring heavy ad-clear weapons.

✔️ Have good comunication for the mechanic.

❌ Do not hurry to shoot the eyes as shooting the wrong eyes is harder to clutch the encounter.

    Reaching the second encounter

After the first encounter, you will return to the encounter selection zone, but this time there will be massive amounts of ads, so bring good long range weapons.

    Iatros, Inward-Tuned

Iatros is a simpler encounter than Epoptes, trading mechanical complexity for a test of survivability and a DPS check.

    General Objective Overview

Kill the boss while maintaining ad-clear and managing the hourglass.

    Arena & Layout

The arena is made up of 6 big plates with bridges between them where the boss and mobs roam with an hourglass in the middle as timer.

    Mechanics

    • Enter arena, defeat six Minotaurs named Time’s Burden.
    • Each drops a Chronon buff. All players collect and jump through purple ring above hourglass.

    • This fills the hourglass (extends timer) and spawns a Vex crystal.
    • Destroy crystal to begin encounter and trigger wipe timer.
    • Two players become runners/dunkers to kill Minotaurs and dunk Chronons to extend time.
    • Three players (Breakers) go to Confluxes and shoot them when signaled.

    • One player (Jumper) does platforming based on Chronon color: top, mid, or bottom plate.

    • Jumper collects Vex buff, calls out which Confluxes to shoot.
    • Breakers shoot Confluxes together at 4x Diastole stacks to spawn crystals.
    • Climber interacts with orb above plates, repeats callout process for next set.
    • Runners keep killing/dunking Minotaurs to prevent hourglass wipe.

    DPS Phase

The damage phase is simple, the boss just walks around shoots and stomps. Five players will dps down the boss while a runner hunts minotaurs and extends the damage phase.

    Tips & Mistakes to Avoid

    ✔️ Bring heavy ad-clear weapons

✔️ Kill the flying imps around the Jumper

Do not forget to deposit the sand into the hourglass

    Reaching the third encounter

After the second encounter, you will return to the encounter selection zone, but this time there will be massive amounts of ads, so bring good long range weapons.

    Agraios, Inherent

    General Objective Overview

The encounter against Agarios is once again on the more mechanical end of things, but survival remains a close second priority.

    Arena & Layout

The arena is just 1 room with 5 portals and the boss that splits into 3 on the flaoting platforms

    Mechanics

    • Start encounter, clear enemies, then kill the Hydra.
    • Hydra spawns 5 Minotaurs kill them, collect Chronons, and activate portals by walking through them.

    • A second Hydra and Wyverns spawn, deal with them and repeat Chronon collection.
    • Three players grab Light Lattice buffs: Absolute, Cyclical, or Constant Temporality.
    • Check sniper Hobgoblin names on upper platforms they match one of the three buffs.
    • Player with matching buff Aligns under correct Hobgoblin.
    • The other two buffed players call out blue-lit portal sides (different for each).
    • Team collects Chronons and charges the called-out portals.
    • One unbuffed player runs through all 5 active portals to gain detainment grenade.
    • That player blocks a sniper shot to pull the boss into the center.

    • Team collapses mid and begins DPS.
    • DPS lasts ~15s. Detainment grenade cycles to another player for repeat phases.
    • Up to 3 detain-DPS cycles (~45s total), then encounter resets.

    Tips & Mistakes to Avoid

    ✔️ Bring heavy precision weapons

✔️ Switch between melee focused builds for ad clear and weapons/super focused builds for dps

    Reaching the final encounter

The final encounter take place in the encounter selection zone.

    Keregos, The Worldline

    General Objective Overview

The fight against Keregos, the Worldline is by far the most complex and difficult, befitting its place as the final encounter of The Desert Perpetual raid. You'll be using all the skills you learned in the previous encounters just to get to the damage phase

    Arena & Layout

Arena is the main floating island from where you choose your encounter, having just an extra

    Mechanics

    • Kill the first wave of enemies, including yellow-bar Hydras.
    • Everyone gets a buff by standing on plates:

      • Constant (left plate): sees mine colors.

      • Cyclical (right plate): sees if mines are active.

      • Absolute (center plate): sees central ring color.

    • Constant players destroy laser turrets and clear adds on lower platform.
    • Temporal Oculus is gained by all three roles standing on a glowing pillar plate.

    • With Oculus active:
      • Absolute calls out ring color (red, white, blue).
      • Constant calls out mine color.
      • Cyclical checks if mine is active.
    • If a mine is active and matches ring color:
      • Absolute destroys it, Cyclical(s) collect Chronons.
    • Repeat mine-clearing and dunking six times to fill the hourglass.
    • Platforms appear, jump to upper level, shoot crystal under hourglass to begin next phase.
    • On upper platform:
      • Absolute sees 3 pillars, Constant & Cyclical each see 2.

      • They stand by their pillars
      • Absolute interacts with shared cube.
      • Repeat x4 to start DPS.
    • During DPS:
      • Shoot boss’s exposed eyes (crit spots).
      • One player collects Chronons scattered around upper platform.
      • Dunk them through color-changing ring.
      • Avoid lasers and Arc pools while maintaining DPS.

    Tips & Mistakes to Avoid

✔️ Bring hard dps, the final stand is very very short

✔️ Call out your buffs so everyone knows what you have
