Soulfire Bastion is a unique Dungeon introduced in Last Epoch that can be accessed in the Imperial Era once you obtain a Soulfire Bastion key.
WHY SHOULD YOU COMPLETE THE SOULFIRE BASTION IN LAST EPOCH?
The main goal of this dungeon is to use your Ember Souls in a gambling process to potentially obtain special exalted items with Tier 5 Sealed Affix and unique items with legendary potential.
SOULFIRE BASTION DUNGEON LOCATION & ENTRANCE
The Soulfire Bastion Dungeon is located in the Imperial Era, in the Felled Wood zone. If you own a dungeon key, right-click on it, and the game will highlight the dungeon location for you.
SOULFIRE BASTION DUNGEON DIFFICULTY LEVELS
The Soulfire Bastion Dungeon is among the most challenging dungeons in the game, with 4 tiers of difficulty. The enemies' health and damage increase significantly with each tier, making it a formidable and demanding experience. So, completing this dungeon requires skill and understanding the boss's patterns.
SOULFIRE BASTION BOSS
The Soulfire Bastion boss is called Cremorus. The boss fight requires skills and knowing the boss's mechanics because otherwise, it can easily one-shot you! We highly recommend you check out a dungeon guide before going for the boss.
SOULFIRE BASTION UNIQUE MECHANIC
Soulfire Shield is a dungeon-specific ability that allows players to switch between Fire and Necrotic resistance. This is very important, as the Fire and Necrotic damage types are deadly in this dungeon, so it's crucial to be cautious and aware of your surroundings.
SOULFIRE BASTION LOOT TABLE & REWARDS
Cremorus Boss drops four uniques based on the Tier selected:
- Ashes of Mortality Unique Ring (Tier 1+)
- Lich's Envy Set Gloves (Tier 2+)
- Immolator's Oblation Unique Belt (Tier 3+)
- Pyre of Affliction Unique 2H Axe (Tier 4)
After defeating Cremorus, you will gain access to the next area, where you will meet the Soul Gambler. Here, you will spend your Ember Souls on the desired item bases. Although it's a gamble mechanic and relies on RNG, it's the only way to get a Tier 5 Sealed Affix on your items.
As you progress through the dungeon and reach each floor, you can obtain beneficial modifiers that come into play when you start gambling. These modifiers can include increased chances for uniques to have at least one legendary potential, the possibility for items to roll twice the stats, and various other advantages.
