Class Overview
A very common type of character found in this genre of games, the Ranger, is a class that relies on dealing physical, elemental, and Damage over Time from a distance, being a dexterity-based class and being supported by intelligence-based skills.
Being able to opt which type of damage you want to destroy enemies with grants the Ranger a very high versatility while also using Spirit for auto-casting spells, gaining defensive stats from passive skills, or even using Blink to increase your general speed, creating multiple builds for specific or general activities, from low-APM to high-APM ones.
Class Archetype
The Ranger is primarily a ranged-based class that uses distance to its advantage, utilizing powerful skills of diverse damage types, even though Path of Exile 2 gives the player complete control over how to use any weapon or skill in the game.
The ranged playstyle offers a safer approach than melee, providing a major benefit to survivability, as the class is fragile.
Class Resource
- Mana – Perhaps the most prevalent resource in any video game, Mana is the main resource used by the Ranger to unleash its deadly spells and empowered attacks, it will cost you lots of it, so you will surely need a high amount of Mana regeneration.
- Spirit – This universal resource is used by the Ranger to auto-cast spells, usually from the elemental skill tree, use the Herald passive skills, the Wind Dancer defensive passive, or even Blink for clear speed.
![ranger resources](/media/images/guide/117/sorceress-resources2.jpg)
Damage Type
The Ranger is a class that excels in several damage types, as we have already covered:
- Physical Damage – Mainly used to stack damage and convert into a specific element, physical damage is the most crucial stat for many builds. It is also used in the Spiral Volley - Snipe build, dealing very high amounts of damage in both AoE and single-target.
- Elemental Damage – Using abilities from the Bow & Crossbow skill gem trees, the Ranger can rapidly become proficient at dealing any type of elemental damage. They can also transform Physical Damage into other kinds of Elemental Damage. This creates opportunities to blend the abilities of various elements into powerful synergies.
- Damage over Time – The Ranger, especially the Pathfinder ascendancy, will use Damage over Time attacks that inflict ailments such as Poison to deal with the enemies.
- Extra Elemental Damage – You can efficiently deal more types of damage by using the "Gain #% of Damage as Extra Element/Chaos Damage" affix, which ensures that no monster with a particular element resistance gets in your way.
- Add Damage to Attacks – The Ranger will significantly benefit from being able to diversify the types of damage they deal by using the "Adds # to # Type of damage to Attacks" modifier. This only applies to skills with the "Attack" tag in their description, just under the name.
Ranger Weapons
Although the Ranger can equip any kind of weapon in the game, the following are the most powerful:
- Bow – The most used main-hand weapon for the Ranger, it offers a significant amount of affix diversity, making it ideal for any build. It is solely used with a quiver, making them a perfect pair.
- Quiver – As mentioned, the bow is the perfect and sole partner for the quiver, raising the player's power tremendously. If the quiver is extremely powerful, it can be combined with the Widowhail unique bow, which will only provide a high percentage increase in the quiver's capabilities.
- Crossbow – Less used compared to the bow, but not weaker; the Crossbow is used in select builds that use skills like the Explosive Shot, Gas Grenade, or based on other Crossbow skills. Since it's a two-handed weapon, you cannot equip an off-hand like the quiver.
- Scepter & Shield – In very isolated cases, the Scepter and Shield can be used for some builds, and their usefulness will be higher than that of the other weapons. An example of this is the Decompose Pathfinder build, which relies on the Decompose skill offered by the Corpsewade boots.
Strengths and Weaknesses
The Ranger has certain advantages and disadvantages, just like any other class in the game, which we will go over in the next chapter:
Strengths
- Master of Elements – The Ranger can easily wield any type of elemental damage, even combining them for tremendous synergies and dishing out multiple types of damage, circumventing enemies that have specific elemental resistance buffs, while also being able to deal Physical Damage.
- Excellent Mobility – The Blink skill gem, used in most Ranger builds, is a superior substitute for the dodge roll; its only drawback is the associated cooldown. Even if Blink is not used, the Ascendancies and the passive skill tree will offer incredible amounts of movement speed or resistance to movement ailments.
- High Versatility – The Ranger, one of the most adaptable classes in the game, is exceptionally skilled at dealing all types of damage, destroying enemies from point-blank or afar, and even applying ailments such as Poison. Feel free to try different combinations with the Ranger; there are no restrictions.
Weaknesses
While the Ranger's strengths might look great and make you want to jump straight into the game, we should also discuss the weaknesses of this class so you know what to expect.
- Fragile – The Ranger is a glass cannon class in comparison to others. The passive tree and gear's primary focus is on Damage for most builds, with evasion coming second. While the evasion percentage can get pretty high (up to 95%), a single blow that will pass through it will likely put you in grave danger.
- Resource Hungry – The Ranger is a very resource-hungry class towards the endgame, and just like other classes, the spell cost will start low and ramp up quickly. Maximum Mana and Mana Regeneration Rate are recommended to combat this, but even the Thief's Torment unique will do the trick.
- High Support Gem Necessity – You must use all three Jeweler's Orb types to add new sockets to at least one of the build's main skills in order to reach the high damage ceiling that we all strive for.
- Positioning – It is crucial during every battle, and since the Ranger is more delicate than other classes, a low action-per-minute playstyle will not cut it.
- Gear Dependancy – In addition to the high support gem necessity, the gear is also a big part of both the defensive and offensive sides of the Ranger. Towards the endgame, the gear's price and crafting difficulty will ramp up extremely quickly, holding the vast potential damage captive.
Ranger Stats Priority
- Dexterity – The most valuable attribute for the Ranger, it will complement the skills very well, even if it does not raise their damage. It is required by most of the equipment used in the Ranger builds that grant Evasion and also grants Accuracy Rating. For every point of Dexterity you acquire, you will also receive one more support gem slot.
- Intelligence – Provides a way to add elemental INT-based skills to builds, raising their power tremendously while also enabling the Ranger to go for an Energy Shield-based defense. For every five intelligence, you will gain a Support Gem Capacity point, raising the number of support gems with INT requirement you can use for your build.
- Strength – Although strength is the least valuable attribute for Rangers, it does allow them to equip gear that grants Armour. You receive two Life for each strength point you use and a strength-based Support Gem Capacity point for each of the five points.
Depending on the gem type (color of the skill) and skill level, each previously mentioned attribute will also be necessary for equipping skills, support gems, and persistent buff skill gems.
Ranger Ascendancies
We currently have access to two of the three Ascendancies that will be available when Path of Exile 2 is released in its entirety after Early Access.
Located in the middle of the passive tree, the Ascendancy, also referred to as a subclass, is an addition that will allow you to further customize your build and increase its power. After finishing the Trial of the Sekhemas in Act 2 of the campaign, it's unlocked and grants two Ascendancy Points.
Once you have the Inscribed Ultimatum from killing Xyclucian, the Chimera, in the Chimera Wetlands, you can complete the Trial of Chaos in Act 3 to earn the following two Ascendancy Points.
Completing the Trial of the Sekhemas and Trial of Chaos at a significantly higher difficulty level, with an area level of 75 or higher, will earn the remaining four Ascendancy Points. Save your Inscribed Ultimatums and Djinn Baryas because these will be very difficult if you don't have a fully optimized endgame build.
Note: Once chosen, the Ascendancy is permanent, and there is no way to change it.
Deadeye
![deadeye ascendancy](/media/images/guide/122/deadeye.jpg)
An extremely powerful ascendancy, the Deadeye will further empower your projectiles and passive defenses, offering you great choices such as:
- Gathering Winds – Gains Tailwind on Skill use. Lose all Tailwind when Hit. Tailwind grants a buff that stacks up to 10, granting increased movement speed, skill speed, and evasion rating for 10 seconds, being an incredible choice for any type of Deadeye build.
- Wind Ward – 3% less Damage taken per Tailwind. While the Ranger is mainly focused on not getting hit with its huge evasion rating, the Wind Ward will help you with the attacks that make it through the evasion for up to 24% damage reduction.
- Called Shots – You can apply an additional Mark.
- Projectile Proximity Specialization – Far Shots - Projectiles deal 0% more Hit damage to targets in the first 3.5 meters of their movement, scaling down with distance traveled to reach 20% after 7 meters. Point Blank - Projectiles deal 20% more Hit damage to targets in the first 3.5 meters of their movement, scaling down with distance traveled to reach % after 7 meters. It's an incredible buff that will benefit most, if not all, builds for the Ranger, due to the versatility of the damage increases.
- Endless Munitions – Skills fire an additional Projectile. One of the best choices you can go for is the extra arrow, which will cause tremendous damage.
- Eagle Eyes – You have an Accuracy Penalty at Distance.
- Avidity – 30% chance that if you would gain Frenzy Charges, you instead gain up to your maximum number of Frenzy Charges.
- Thrilling Chase – Benefits from consuming Frenzy Charges for your Skills have a 50% chance to be doubled.
In our experience with the Deadeye, we took the Gathering Winds, Wind Ward, Point Blank Projectile Proximity Specialization, and Endless Munitions, empowering our evasion even further and damage reduction with the Tailwind buff and damage with the additional arrow and damage to close enemies.
Pathfinder
![pathfinder ascendancy](/media/images/guide/122/pathfinder.jpg)
More difficult to play and optimize than our other Ascendancy, the Pathfinder will gain its powers from using the elemental ailments and damage-over-time skills to its advantage.
- Running Assault – 30% less Movement Speed Penalty from using Skills while moving. While this choice might not seem strong, it will surely provide an edge while fighting, giving a new meaning to the run-and-gun phrase.
- Relentless Pursuit – Your speed is unaffected by Slows. While not the most substantial buff, being unaffected by slows will significantly aid in builds that require positioning and avoiding getting hit at any cost.
- Traveler's Wisdom – Grants 5 Passive Skill Points. An incredible choice for any build. Who doesn't like having more passive skill points?
- Brew Concoction – Grants one of the five following skills: Bleeding Concoction, Explosive Concoction, Shattering Concoction, Fulminating Concoction, or Poisonous Concoction. This Ascendancy skill will enable a great amount of builds, giving the Pathfinder tremendous versatility.
SKIP THE GRIND GET CHEAP POE 2 SERVICES!
- Contagious Concoction – The most Damaging Poison on Enemies you Kill is Spread to other Enemies within 1.5 meters. Great enabler for AoE damage.
- Overwhelming Toxicity – Double the number of your Poisons that targets can be affected by at the same time. 35% less Poison Duration.
- Connected Chemistry – 50% more Flask Charges gained.
- Enduring Elixirs – Life Flask Effects are not removed when Unreserved Life is Filled. Life Flask Effects do not Queue.
When tested, we used the Traveller's Wisdom, Poison Concoction, Contagious Contamination, and Overwhelming Toxicity, which worked great in a Toxic build based on the Corpsewade boots, which trigger Decompose Skill on each step.
What is the best Ranger Ascendancy?
There's just no way we can decide which Ascendancy is the best. Each Ranger Ascendancy has advantages and disadvantages and will suit a particular build and playstyle.
Passive Skill Tree
![ranger passive skill tree](/media/images/guide/122/ranger-passive-tree.jpg)
The build you may have already selected will affect the passive tree. Generally speaking, you should aim to reduce point waste because the passive tree is enormous.
Starting Location on the Passive Tree
The starting location for Rangers is the lower-right of the circle, with great choices right from the start, such as:
- % increased Physical/Elemental Attack Damage
- % increased Attack Speed
- % increased Evasion Rating
- % increased chance to inflict elemental ailment
- % increased Movement Speed
The nodes farther away will offer more potent and varied upgrades, so don't get caught up in the initial nodes, no matter how lovely they appear. The starting point should ideally have a single line of nodes pointing toward the primary Key Passive Nodes that will be most advantageous to the build.
Completing the side quests linked to the main story will earn you up to 24 extra passive skill points, aside from the single passive point you gain from each level up. It is straightforward to monitor your progress because they are clearly visible on the map, indicated by a "+" next to the relevant icon.
Note: Remember that you are not limited to the bottom-right part of the passive tree. You can go towards and obtain any node in the whole tree, with the only limitation being the starting point and number of passive points.
Key Passive Nodes
Depending on the build you intend to play, the most important Key Passive nodes will vary, but generally speaking, we advise acquiring the most helpful ones, like these:
- Acrobatics - Can Evade all Hits. 70% less Evasion Rating. - A very powerful choice since the Ranger's defensive option is evasion, you can raise it up to 85%, rendering most of the attacks coming towards you useless.
- Chaos Inoculation - Maximum Life becomes 1, Immune to Chaos Damage - Incredibly powerful, removes the necessity to have chaos resistance on gear and allows the player to focus entirely on elemental resistance and raising the maximum energy shield as much as possible.
- Eternal Youth - Life Recharges instead of Energy Shield. Life Recovery from Flasks applies to Energy Shield instead.
Remember that taking more Key Passive Nodes isn't always the best course of action; instead, you should optimize your build with other nodes. When attempting to hit as many nodes as possible, keeping the path to the desired nodes as short as possible is imperative.
Best Ranger Gems
![ranger skill gems](/media/images/guide/122/ranger-skill-gems.jpg)
Although there isn't a top gem for the entire class or Ascendancy, we may categorize them as best for the related build and talk about significant synergies to go along with it.
Best Ranger Skill Gems
- Lightning Arrow + Lightning Rod - Very powerful choice when you are just starting the game, the Lightning Rods placed on the ground will chain with the Lightning Arrow for added damage, working great against elites and bosses early on.
- Lightning Rod + Orb of Storms - Following the idea as before, the Orb of Storms will be placed down, and Lightning Rod will be spammed in it to trigger a lot of chains. This will deal significant damage and is paired perfectly with Cast on Shock. More on that in the Spirit Gem category.
- Decompose - Great skill for the Pathfinder ascendancy specifically; it is granted by the Corpsewade unique boots. Combined with the elemental ailment specialization of the Pathfinder, it will raise the damage potential tremendously, killing enemies just by walking close to them.
- Spiral Volley + Snipe - An endgame-oriented build, since the requirements for the skill gems, are high, this build will melt the enemies with ease by simply pressing the Spiral Volley skill. At the same time, Combat Frenzy, Bonestorm, and Barrage allow the Snipe to shoot multiple empowered shots.
Best Ranger Support Gems
As previously said, no category has the best gem, and the Support Gems are no different. Your playstyle, build, and skill gem selection will all play a significant role in selecting your support gems. In light of this, the following is a list of the top support gems for the skill gems in the Lightning Arrow leveling build:
Skill Gem | Support Gems |
Lightning Arrow | Pierce Martial Tempo |
Lightning Rod | Scattershot Primal Armament |
Escape Shot | Holy Descent |
Freezing Salvo | Hourglass Magnified Effect Ice Bite |
Herald of Thunder | Lightning Infusion Innervate |
Wind Dancer | Clarity |
Orb of Storms | Chain Overabundance Unleash |
Note: If you can't find the support gems mentioned above, press the "All Gems" button found in the bottom-left corner of the skill gem menu.
Best Ranger Spirit Gems
- Herald of Thunder - Incredible choice for AoE clearing, it will summon lightning bolts on the next hits after killing a Shocked enemy. This effect can be held continuously as long as you shock most if not all enemies you hit.
- Herald of Ice - Another tremendous choice for AoE attacks, it will cause an Icy explosion after Shattering an enemy. This can be combined with the Herald of Thunder, using the Lightning Infusion support gem on the Herald of Ice and the Cold Infusion on the Herald of Thunder, causing them to both proc, dealing immense damage. This combination is used for most Deadeye builds, being extremely powerful for quickly clearing groups of enemies.
- Wind Dancer - An evident skill to use, it dramatically enhances the defensive ability of the Ranger, granting high amounts of Evasion Rating percentage per Stage, for up to 4 Stages. If hit, it will consume all the Stages available, knocking enemies back and dealing damage. This can also be combined with the Herald synergy, triggering both if the Wind Dancer deals enough damage to the enemies that hit you.
- Cast on Shock - Great choice for builds that rely on Lightning Damage; it can be used to auto-cast different skills such as Lightning Conduit or Ball Lightning. Builds relying on the Herald synergy will use this skill when it comes to killing bosses, by continuously triggering the auto-cast of Ball Lightning using Orb of Storms and Lightning Rod.
- Blink - Another obvious choice for the Ranger since it focuses and specializes in speed, the Blink will let you jump over obstacles and distance yourself when enemies circle you. It works wonders when combined with the Temporalis chest armour, allowing you to blink up to 10 times per second, allowing you to maximize the clear speed.
Best Ranger Unique Items
- Hands of Wisdom and Action - Incredible choice for most Ranger builds; they will offer the player Attack Speed and extra Lightning Damage to Attacks based on your Dexterity and Intelligence. This is especially powerful because intelligence is required by most of the builds.
- Kitoko's Current - Powerful unique item for builds based on shocking enemies; these gloves will make inflicting the ailment on any enemy a breeze, contributing to Electrocution buildup by a very high amount.
- Widowhail - If used correctly, one of the most powerful unique items in PoE2 will increase the bonuses gained from the equipped quiver. This opens up many opportunities, even for other classes, being used on all kinds of builds, even for a Spark Stormweaver build. Most players will aim to surpass the maximum amount of 250% by using a Vaal Orb to gain even more percentage.
- Thief's Torment - There's no secret that the highest DPS builds for the Rangers are incredibly mana-hungry. The Thief's Torment comes as a solution, offering 15 Mana for each hit on enemies with attacks, giving tremendous sustain. The only downside is that you cannot equip another ring with it, leaving you lacking some of the bonuses they offer.
- Queen of the Forest - This is an excellent choice if you are aiming for an extremely fast clearer; it will offer you 1% Movement Speed for each 500 Evasion Rating. This makes flat Evasion Rating extremely important for the synergy, with a percentage Evasion Rating in second place.
- Corpsewade - Extremely powerful on the Ranger, more specifically on the Pathfinder, it will melt enemies while you just walk close to them.
Ranger Leveling Tips
To assist you get through the game's leveling stage more quickly and easily, we've included the greatest recommendations in the next section of our guide.
1. Complete the campaign & complete all side objectives
The primary goal during leveling should be to finish the campaign since it is the direct route to the early endgame. Since the majority of the side quests will grant you vital permanent buffs that will aid you later in the game, doing them should be more crucial than finishing the main goal as you progress through each region.
You may keep track of these permanent boosts by viewing the map in each act (Map shortcut: U by default) and searching for icons with a "+" sign next to them. They have already accomplished the goal and received the bonus if they are greyed out.
2. Always out-level the zone
In Path of Exile 2, you need to be inside the area level's range in order to get the most experience from the monsters you defeat. Being at least one level below the area level is typically the recommended course of action.
Additionally, if you are five levels above the zone you are in, the amount of experience you receive will be reduced due to an XP constraint. Contrary to popular belief, you will also receive less experience if you are five levels below the zone you are in.
3. Check the vendors on level up
Getting more powerful items will always be challenging because you will switch up your gear a lot until the early game. The greatest advice we can offer is to check the vendor for better equipment each time you level up, until you have enough currency to trade with other players on the well-known PoE2 trading website.
Additionally, having a stack of Scrolls of Wisdom will be helpful because it will allow us to quickly identify and replace items as needed.
4. Spend currency to craft gear pieces
Until they receive something they think is valuable, most people will hold onto the currency they receive. We view this as a mistake because you will continuously receive currency, and holding onto it will only hinder your progress.
You should only hold onto the more valuable currencies for trading or future use, specifically the:
- Exalted Orbs, but only in the first one or two weeks of a new league
- Chaos Orbs
- Divine Orbs
SKIP THE GRIND BUY CHEAP POE 2 CURRENCY!
After reaching the early endgame, these mentioned currencies will be used to complete an endgame build, and after that, they can be used to either upgrade the build or to try and craft better items.
5. Pick up all magic, rare, and unique gear pieces and identify them to check for upgrades
One of the primary ways to acquire better equipment and determine whether it is superior to what you currently have equipped is to pick up the magic or better items and identify all of them, as we have previously discussed. Scrolls of wisdom must, therefore, be included in the inventory.
Selling your collected items is the best course of action if they are not superior to what you currently have. Passive points, which are very costly to recover, are currently primarily refunded using the gold that has been earned. Atlas points can also be exchanged for gold, but there is a set fee of 5,000 gold.
We advise filling the inventory with items if you don't have Scrolls of Wisdom, then using the portal to town to identify them before using or selling them. To save a few seconds, you can use the shortcut Ctrl + click on the NPC identifying the items.
6. Upgrade your skills and add supports using Uncut Gems you find
The primary skills required for your leveling build must be unlocked before you can concentrate on improving them in order of utility. The skill you use the most or that deals damage should be used first, and you should proceed in the specified order.
Support gems are also required to further increase the skill gems' power or utility and aid in time-saving and monster-killing.
League Starter Build
As a starter build, we recommend the Lightning Arrow leveling build, as it helps you stay away from the fight. This will help you keep your distance and not be in danger while dealing great amounts of damage to any enemy in sight.
Skill Gem | Support Gems |
Lightning Arrow | Matrial Tempo Ice Bite Primal Armament Overcharge |
Lightning Rod | Scattershot Concentrated Effect Conduction Close Combat |
Herald of Thunder | Cold Infusion Glaciation Lightning Mastery |
Herald of Ice | Longshot Magnified Effect Cold Mastery Innervate |
Wind Dancer | Blind Maim |
Orb of Storms | Chain Persistence Unleash Overabundance |
Cast on Shock | Ball Lightning Deceleration Impetus Energy Retention |
Voltaic Mark | Arcane Tempo |

Pro Ranger Endgame Tips & Tricks
The best strategies for entering the end game will be covered in detail in this section of our guide so that you are ready for anything that may come up.
1. Transitioning into an endgame build with useful stats and capped resistances
Professional players or streamers who have played this game for a long time typically write the build guides. They will optimize it in the best way possible so you can get the best build possible because they have knowledge from testing the build in PoE 2 in various ways or from playing the previous game.
Attempting to cap your resistance is another essential step when beginning an endgame build. It shouldn't be too difficult because numerous approaches exist, particularly for the chaos resistance.
It's also crucial to keep improving your build by swapping out your existing items for better gear or ones with higher affix rolls.
2. Constantly use your currency to craft or buy upgrades for your gear
As previously stated, you will advance more quickly if you use your currency. Crafting or trading with other players is essential now that we are in the endgame because it will take a very long time to simply farm an item with the necessary stats.
In addition to purchasing, you can sell the equipment you acquire that you no longer need once you have a premium stash tab. This will give you even more money to spend on your required items.
3. Use the Path of Exile Trade website to look for possible upgrades using filters
Because it has so many filters, you can find the ideal item with the precise stats and affix rolls you desire, making the Path of Exile Trade website, in our opinion, one of the greatest trading options added to a video game.
With its "whisper" button, you can communicate directly with the player you are trading with in-game. The only thing left to do is teleport to the other player after inviting him to a party, which makes the process much more straightforward than with other trading systems.
4. Use the in-game currency exchange feature for fast currency trading
Alva, one of the game's NPCs, can convert any currency into another when you're in the Hideout. After accumulating sufficient currency, you can trade it for the primary trading currency or even for other kinds of orbs you require.
The currency used for trading will vary depending on the league's time frame. For instance, the Exalted Orb is the primary currency at the beginning of the league, primarily during the first week or two, and the Divine Orb is used later on.
![alva-currency-exchange](/media/images/guide/113/currency-exchange.jpg)
5. Complete the 3rd and 4th Ascension Trials for additional Ascendancy Passive Points
The other four Ascendancy points are obtained by completing either the Trial of the Sekhemas or the Trial of Chaos, but with specific requirements:
- For the Trial of Chaos, the number of trials must be ten to acquire the 7th and 8th Ascendancy Points.
- For the Trial of the Sekhemas, there must be four floors to obtain the 7th and 8th Ascendancy Points.
In contrast to the already finished Trial versions, these will be considerably more difficult. The challenges may not be the most difficult content in the game, but you will undoubtedly need a lot of patience and damage once you get to the final boss.
Note: Completing the Trial of the Sekhemas 4th floor or the Trial of Chaos secret room will award the 7th and 8th Ascendancy points, and if you didn't complete the Trials for the 5th and 6th points before, they will also be awarded.
6. Progress through the atlas, avoiding difficult waystone modifiers
We advise avoiding bad waystone modifiers and just using another one when beginning to clear maps. The power and survivability of your build should be considered when selecting the tier of the waystone you are attempting to finish.
Since finishing lower-tier waystones more quickly is more efficient than completing harder waystones very slowly, think about lowering the tier if the map is taking too long.
Do even the waystones of the lower tier feel hard? Until your build gets stronger or you get used to this endgame system, try purchasing tier 1 gray waystones from Doryani and running them without any modifiers.
7. Clear maps of an adequate tier based on your level
Clearing maps with lower tiers as quickly as possible is preferable to completing them slowly with only a few tiers higher, as we have previously stated. If you want to level up, you should also think about keeping the area level at five levels below or above you, as going over that threshold will reduce the amount of experience you earn.
8. Play safe and avoid dying at any cost
It is essential to survive the maps because they will teleport you outside and shut down the portals if you die. Your progress will be made even more difficult by the fact that you will also lose 10% of the total experience needed to level up. Keep your distance from the monsters and pay attention to your surroundings.
