WHAT IS THE SECRET AVALON MISSION?
A brand new Secret Mission has been added in Destiny 2: Season of the Defiance, and it rewards an Exotic Glaive, Vexcalibur. The mission has two difficulties: Normal & Legendary, with additional triumphs such as Solo Completion, Timed Run (30 minutes), and quests.
The Vexcalibur will feature three catalysts, and you will be rewarded with an Exotic Shell when you achieve all of them:
- Immovable Refit
- Robber Refit
- Feedback Refit
HOW TO START THE SECRET AVALON MISSION?
To start the Node.Ovrd.Avalon Exotic Mission, you need to go to The Gulch in EDZ. There will be six Vex Nodes scattered around the area (you can hear them if you get close enough), and you have to collect them as fast as possible.
The order in how you manage the nodes does not matter, but you will have a timer of 30 seconds when getting a node; the timer is refreshed when you get another one:
- First Node – When you spawn, jump on the nearest platform on the left of the bridge and start the sequence.
- Second Node – Under the bridge near your Gulch spawn.
- Third Node – The ground level where the grove with tree stumps is located.
- Fourth Node – Between two trees on the rock wall.
- Fifth Node – In between the Highway Signs.
- Sixth Node – Turn around from the Fourth Node and turn left. You can find the fifth one behind the fallen trees.
WHERE IS THE CAVE ENTRANCE FOR THE AVALON SECRET MISSION?
After you collect all six Vex Nodes, you need to find the Secret Entrance. Continue walking on the road after taking the Sixth node; some lamps will light the cave entrance on the left of the rocky wall. Go inside, drop down below and talk with the Vex Harpyvaluable Vexcalibur.
