The steps of the quest are the following:

  • Step 1: Find 3 dead Exos.
  • Step 2: Find the Giant Exo.
  • Step 3: Bring a sword! - 100 vex defeated with a Sword, 20 Sword final blows against Minotaurs, Hydras, and Cyclops.
  • Step 4: Complete an Exo Challenge.
  • Step 5: Finishers against Vex - Kill a bunch of Vex with finishers (about 100).
  • Step 6: Rescue the Past – Complete the Glassway Strike.
  • Step 7: Speak with Banshee-44.
  • Step 8: Bunker E15 - complete this Lost Sector that's found in Eventide Ruins on Europa.
  • Step 9: Complete Reforging the Past - Complete the quest, Reforging the Past in Eventide Ruins.
  • Step 10: Claim the Lament - Clear out the Vex that are assaulting the Clovis Bray AI. Defeat the Abstract Gate Lord and then hear what the AI has to say.

THE LAMENT EXOTIC SWORD PERKS & STATS

All the weapons stats are pretty good but where it shines is Impact: 74, Guard Efficiency: 60, and Guard Resistance: 50.
